Buying & Selling
YOUR ATTENTION IS DRAWN TO
THE FOLLOWING SPECIAL CONDITIONS OF SALE
1. There is a Buyers Premium of 18% plus V.A.T. on all purchases.
2. Cheques will only be accepted if supported by a Bank Card and only up
to the amount stated. All cheques must be cleared before goods can
be taken.
3. Purchasers must settle their accounts on the day of the Sale.
Please note we will only accept credit and debit card payments from
buyers who collect in person with their card present and also provide
proof of identity which must include the address that the card is
registered to. We no longer accept remote card payments.
Payment can also be made by bank transfer and account details can be
provided.
4. No lots can be removed from the saleroom until the end of the Sale.
5. Purchasers must make their own arrangements for removal of their
purchases on the day of the Sale up to 5.00pm or during the following 5
working days 10.00am to 1.00pm or by arrangement. After this time storage
charges will be incurred.
6. The Sale is subject to the Auctioneer's General Conditions of Sale as
exhibited in the Saleroom.
7. No lots will be transferred from one purchaser to another.
8. All lots after the fall of the hammer will be held at the purchaser's
risk.
9. The Auctioneer reserves the right to refuse any bid.
10. The lots will be sold as they stand at time of sale, with all their
qualities and defects, irrespective of their description in the Catalogue.
11. Toys are not suitable for children under the ages of 36 months unless
otherwise stated.
12. Bids should be left at least 24
hours prior to the Sale day to be certain of registration. Bids left
on the Sale day cannot be guaranteed.
13. We are happy to post out small
items by special delivery or first class recorded post. We do not
ship furniture, pictures or very fragile high vale items. Please
contact our office for further information on suitability of posting and
costs. We recommend the Andover branch of Mailboxes who can

FOR THE ATTENTION OF NEW BUYERS
Prospective purchasers not known to the Auctioneers, and who wish to pay
by cheque MUST GIVE AT LEAST THREE WEEKS WRITTEN NOTICE TO THE
AUCTIONEERS. The information required is as follows:-
1. Two Trade References or letter from Bank.
2. Name and Address of Bank.
3. The Account Title and Number
4. The upper limit which the purchaser anticipates requiring.
The Auctioneers reserve the right to retain purchases until cheques are
cleared.
LIGHT REFRESHMENTS WILL BE AVAILABLE ON
THE SALE DAY
